I focus on the intersection of tech for good, women’s rights, and human rights. I am the co-founder and Executive Director of Fast Forward, the accelerator for tech nonprofits. Prior to Fast Forward, I was the founding Executive Director of Spark, the world's largest network of Millennial philanthropists. I also co-founded The W. Haywood Burns Institute, a MacArthur Award-winning juvenile justice reform organization. I write about tech trends, diverse leaders, and the future of social good in Forbes, TechCrunch, and Recode. I co-authored a how-to guide for social impact startups. It's available for free at ffwd.org/playbook.

Becky Straw

Prior to starting The Adventure Project, Becky spent three years helping to launch charity: water, an organization bringing drinking water to people in developing countries. Becky has consulted for UNICEF’s Division of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, and graduated from Columbia University with a master’s degree in International Social Welfare.

Avra is COO of Elemental Excelerator, a global climate technology accelerator and non-profit impact organization. Chris Bessenecker

Over the last 30 years my work has taken me to all regions of the world to address some of the most pressing problems faced by the global poor. My vocation in international development began as a rural Peace Corps volunteer in the northwest Honduras, Central America. Since that time I have worked or consulted for various organizations including UNICEF, International Rescue Committee, and Project Concern International serving in capacities as varied as research investigator, field director and vice-president of programs.
